Looking for a winter red ? The cuvée La Centaurée 2011 from the wonderful terroir of La Clape – Château Pech Redon 

Mourvèdre 40% – Grenache 30% – Syrah 30% – Old vines

Hand-picked grapes in crates with sorting on vibrating table, destemmed and crushed. Blending of the three grape varieties vinified together.
Maceration: 5 weeks with natural fermentation
Aging: 24 months in 500L barrels

Tasting notes: A sunny red wine revealing aromas of candied fruits and garrigue, powerful and generous.

Nose: Intense nose of black fruit with brandy, aromas of garrigue and subtle hints of cinnamon

Perfect on meat in sauce and game

Cellaring: 10-15 years old
